SWEET PHOTO! Too bad Steve Lee and crew didn't give you some steam or smoke to work with. I nominate for POTW seeing anyone who is devoted enough to rent a helicopter or airplane for this shot deserves a nice reward!

Thanks! This is taken from an aircraft and I did talk to the fireman about giving some smoke and he did give some nice shots off and on over the lake. As you can see however, I did not time this shot to grab the smoke. My fault, not the crew. I do have others that show smoke, but not the whole train like this one. See my other shots to see smoke. Thanks to Steve and the steam crew for providing smoke for some other excellent shots.

Why is there a red caboose and so close to the front of the train and not the end of it?

The red caboose was being taken to The Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola, California.
