That photo was taken in Downers Grove, Main Street Overcrossing. You can see the Tivoli Theatre in the background through the trees, and it is the only place on the BN mainline where there is a fence on both side of the road without there being a station platform where the foreground fence is. The signals in the background are also a giveaway.

Yes, I was on the eastbound Amtrak California Zephyr, just shooting westbound BN/Metra trains as we passed them. I did not know which stations we were passing at the time, so thanks for the clarification. Now I have to find the slide and make a note of it.
