Are the plow and fuel tank really painted yellow?? Nice shot!

I doubt it. The yellow is probably just a stick-on plastic to prevent chips in the new paint during transport.

It looked like some kind of protective tape to me.

What I find weird is the WSOR business car. My only guess is that this is the UP guys that were supposedly hanging around Horicon while it was being painted, making sure no unauthorized persons get into where it was being painted) and now those same guys are "escorting" the loco along. But still, why they are using a WSOR car(which I'm guessing to be the James M Gardner Business/observation car, although I can't tell for sure). Does anybody know for sure why the car is there???? i thought that UP was going to paint up a DRGW engine in the heritage scheme. could that possibly be it?

I think this is the engine that there going to use to power Railroad 1. It said that it is going to be painted for George H W bush and i heard the UP provided a unit for the train.
