I can not make out the number, but from the window configuration that may be the former Georgia Railroad mixed train coach 106 right behind the loco.

Sorry, I was wrong, in a later photo the rubbed out Southern can be seen in the letter board. This would have been an identical twin to the Georgia RR mixed train coach as both were former Southern Crescent coaches.
