Great shot. It is hard to believe that this is nothing but a dirt covered lot now. Post more vintage Duluth/Superior photos.

I was looking at a recent aerial photograph of this area and if you were to stand on the north side of the west end of the Belknap Street bridge and look over toward the fuel tanks this scene would have been just to your left. One leg of a new wye (new to me, I have no idea when all this was torn down) goes right over where this turntable was and right through the roundhouse.

Really neat shot! As the others said, it's too bad to think that this image is all that's left.
