Funny to see the spray-painted on numbers. Nice catch.

Probably on its way to be painted at Ceeco.
|
Oh yeah, they got a plan for that one...
Step 1.) Paint it.
Step 2.) Install numberboards.
Step 3.) Place in freight service.

This is BNSFs newest ACe with the lights put back into the nose. I dont know about the number boards though.
|
Prototype for a future order? Wierd...
|
Wouldn't be nice if it was destined to WS for a custom paint job...BNSF Heritage anybody?
|
Looks better now than it would look with H3...

The number board brackets are above the windows like every other ACe and 70M-2. The boards them selves are not applied untill after painting. As far as a paint job, it should be H3 but two tone NP green would be nice.

Sisters 9331 and 9332 were headed to Horicon for their road colors. WSOR painted the 6 UP Heritage schemes on the same locos, as well as numerous UP 84xx units in their customary colors.

I would like to see them painted in the BN Executive livery from the ace's older brother the mac.
|
Somewhere on the side they should put "America Moves by Rail".
