Sorry, I'm new to the rail world. What do the names dark and bright have to do with the picture?

When CSX was created in 1987, their new livery of blue, gray and yellow (their standard livery) was nicknamed 'Bright Future'. They revised their livery a few years ago to comprise of a darker shade of blue, yellow and no gray. Industry observers and enthusiasts have sarcastically refered to this scheme as 'Dark Future'! BNSF's revised logo is generally refered to as the 'Swoosh'. I added the 'Future' to that one for poetic reasons!
