Wow, quite different power on this line than just a few years ago, last time I was in the area Corman had just got the line a few months prior and had two GP16's parked at Southside Jct., which even that was quite a bit different than what WVS had

Those two came down from Clearfield line early fall to work the heavy grades.

This picture is on the site of the New River Company's Siltex Mine loading facility. I've spent more than a few hours watching emptys brought in, and loads taken out. A good friend was the engineer on this run until his retirement.
