A derailer now guards that siding and the East Gulf Branch that crosses the creek is now abandoned/mothballed, a lot has changed at this particular spot which is one of my favorite places to film trains. I believe they used a caboose whenever they had a train that was too long to turn the engines around on the East Gulf run. Affinity had plenty of space so they could turn engines around very easily and never needed a caboose. Great picture glad someone took it.
