I remember the 301 leading freights on the N&W in and out of Detroit's (Melvindale) Oakwood Yard around 1972. Thanks for the memories, Dale and all the oldies you've been posting.

Man, FA2's on a steam helper. FA2's on their own would be an event now-a-days, and them with steam? That would be awesome. I bet in 1974 that was business as usual. Nice shot Dale, I love those old Alco barns.
