Cant help but notice there is only one unit on train which means it cant be that long of a wait !!! Luis

If you look close you can see that there is actually a second unit. Also, a train having one unit doesn't guarantee that it's a short train. I've had roadrailers on the Union Pacific with one unit and 90 trailers, which gives you a train length of over 4800 feet.

I'm a trucker. The street he needs to turn on looks very narrow, plus with the concrete barriers it would mean a very slow, careful turn. I'd be concerned even without the train.

Good to see that justice was actually served.......

I am a retired Michigan police officer - here's my two cents: Before issuing their summons, I have told my customers, "there is no train that is so slow that it will keep you stopped as long as it will take me to write you this citation".

I too am a truck driver. It's guys like this that helped our reputation plummet many years ago. As Richard said, this is most likely his last trip for his current employer. He'll probably also encounter great difficulty getting another driving job, and rightly so.

What is up with the crossing gate? Did he bust through it?
