I think it would sound like a bus...., I know it was built like one.
Fascinating creation, though short lived. The interior is open to
view at the location of the other surving partial set in St. Louis.
Keep in mind, looks are deceiving and as wild as the shell looks
it was not a turbine. Thanks for sharing, nice to see the unit is
outdoors where it can be seen and photographed. Hope it is
protected from the elements.

Nope, no turbine, its basically an SW1200 on a light weight body, it was rated as a top speed of 102 mph. The thing I wanted to hear is the 1200 hp engine at the set RPM, the HEP came off an alternator on the prime motor, its not a second motor as used today. So if its rated at 102 it must be pretty high RPM.... constant. The coaches were designed off of inter-city buses, just wider.
