What's that shooting up in the background? Looks like a fountain of sorts, but is pretty high for one.

Nick, it is indeed a fountain. Langley fountain reaches 190' in the air, and marks the location of Lynch's ferry which was established in 1757. Its the highest such fountain East of the Mississippi.
