This stencil was on the first piece of rolling stock that the Bluegrass Railroad Museum owned. The coach had been used in M of W service and never got restored, and was scraped recently. I asked for the marker light brackets and shared a pair with another member. The pair of brackets that I received proved to contain a surprise, as one of them had a small bit of paint missing showing a strange glint. I took a wire brush wheel to it and it proved to be brass, the only one of the four. Now I have a steel bracket to mount on a pole and a nice polished brass paper weight ! Other museum members had various pieces of the car cut out including the two safety logos as seen here.
