Thats actually the track where cars get scrapped. I work for the BNSF in Pasco. We spot cars up in there about once every 3 weeks. The first thing they do is take the trucks off of them. Most of the time across the street behind where this photo was taken there will be some flat bed simi-trucks used to haul away the cars. All they do there at the yard is take the trucks off and cut the ends of bulkheads. They then load the whole car on to a trailer and haul it away. I'm not sure where they take them to finish scrapping them.

Thanks for the accurate info regarding this scene, I didn't quite know what was going on here.
