The ES44's and SD70M-2's seem to be dirt magnets. Especially on the cabsides. As for the snow sheilds, they aren't required on the IC now are they?

I will agree with you on the dirty loco's. I have seen 11 70M-2's and 7 44AC's and all were dirty...and that was shortly after they were delivered! As for the snow hoods, WC has them on the former AC GP38-2's and no other loco's.
