Just seeing this photo on RP.net for the first time Jonathan - I must say that it reminds me of a small tourist railroad in Eastern Ohio that experienced the same situation on their line in 2004, and it looked exactly like this photo depicts, only worse and more "sickening" when seen in person, up-close-and-personal. However to quote one of the members when surveying the damage: "Ahh, it'll be good for 20 just as it is!" < said in a moment to brighten the mood of the situation and other members around at the time.
