Nice, but where are the boiler jackets?

Nice! Up, close and personal view of two of the museums star attractions. Nice composition, great use of a wide angle and a very unique elevation. Bonus for the American flag and the Museum's new clock tower. The boiler jacketing, I believe, is history. They were removed to get the asbestos out and most of the jacketing has since rusted away or deteriorated. Other pieces remain stored at the museum for future restoration. Once restored, the engines will be kepted in doors. The photo shoot will concentrate on frontal portraits of these engines.

It looks as though the 3750 is under steam, but that must be another loco in the background.
