Interesting shot...never knew those former GE mainline units were exported to Estonia.

In years 2002 and 2003 there were 77 GE locos exported to Estonia. Numbers 1500 to 1557 are C36-7i locos (built 1985) and numbers 1558 to 1576 are C30-7Ai's (built 1984). Half of these locomotives are now disused and all C30-7Ai's are written-off, thanks to decline in freight traffic.

Has the Estonian railway TE33A Ge Locomotives have arrived yet on the Estonian system and will the C30-7Ai's come back from the deadline and run for once. Alex Schmollinger

There are rumors that all C30 locos will be sold. No word from TE33A's yet...

Hay RL so the C36-7i will also be sold off then what was the point of Estonia even buying the GE's in the fist place bro. Alex Schmollinger
