Almost as good as the power is the N&W FGE box in the background. Also, been a long time since I've seen cross ties cut like that. Even more amazing is how neatly they are stacked. Seaboard Coast Line went thru a couple of renewals on the Lineville Subdivision and had a process that cut the cross ties. However, they were thrown clear on the right of way and simply left to rot. For years, this debris helped furnish the train crews with the "chocks" to place under car and locomotive wheels when leaving this equipment on sidings.
