Beautiful, evocative B&W work. And since I'm going there tomorrow I will try my own version (OK, copy) of it. But 2124 looks so forlorn; nothing like when I rode behind it back in the early 60's. Where is Steamtown's 80 million dollars now?

Very effective use of the light and the vantage point. I like the image a lot, even though the beast does look a bit sad.

Very nice use of tones. Almost looks like a Selenium toned priint. 2124 does look a bit sad though.

My favorite shot of one of my favorite locos. I am still speechless just flawless (minus her condition). Maybe we can do something about that one day. ;-)
