BNSF's business trains don't look half as good today! Nice shot!

Wow, there is THE merger passenger train if there ever was one! Anyone know the story on the fresh paint ATSF Warbonnet GP60M's - repainted from their peeling 1991 EMD delivery paint?

According to my 2004-2005 BNSF Locomotive Review, the 153 was one of 21 GP60M's repainted into this scheme in 1996-1997, mostly by VMV of Paducah, Kentucky. Aside from having the tall 'BNSF' lettering, the warbonnet curve behind the cab is much shorter than the as-delivered GP60M's in 1991. They retained the Santa Fe lettering in the cigar band logo on the nose, although the BNSF logo was later added to some units.
