From the looks of the wrinkled running rails the bridge substructure must be moving around a bit. A "nature induced collapse" makes the protective fences a useful attribute. Interesting photo.

I grew up here and sure don't want the thing torn down; along w/ the sterling silver tree. leave it. more dangers exist then any here.
