Looks like someone caught the "abandoned" bug! Sweet shot; you beat me to 'em!

Are those standard gauge or narrow gauge? It would be rather nice to see them restored in some way.

Wow, I photographed those box cars over 12 years ago and they looked exactly the same. I'm surprised they are still there! Thanks of sharing.

I have to say nice shot. I remember seeing this in person and I must say that you just can't appreciate the (I'll say) eerie feeling you get when standing next to these cars lost in the woods still awaiting to be picked up to make it to there final destination! For those who have not been able to visit EBT let alone Mt. Union there are cars that have whole trees growing up threw the rotting wooden decking. It’s kind of neat but sad to see.

I have been up in the mount union yards but was never able to see them, darn trees. you did a really nice job capturing the cars.

I agree with rob216. Get these cars out of there and restore then before its to late. :(

Just visited these cars yesterday and they still look pretty good for there age. There are a couple there that could easily be restored without much work. hopefully someone saves them before it's too late.

These cars were scrapped this week, according to reports on RYPN.org.
