I'd love to see a present day shot from that location. I lived in Sacramento for a couple of years back in the early 90's and something about that shot looks familiar to me. Thanks for sharing, David.

Jim, if you're wondering where this is at, I'd be willing to bet that it's between J St. and K St. The station is behind the photographer. If you visit, the station is actually still there, though it's been turned into a 'Spaghetti Factory' restaurant. The building behind the train is very similar to the building that is across the tracks from the restaurant, and some of the rooftops, trees, and power-poles still stand.
