By the way, this beautiful GG-1 was painted into the old PRR Tuscan red scheme by its owner, New Jersey Transit. Earlier, about 1978 or so, Amtrak repainted 4935 into the PRR Brunswick green with gold graphics, but Wilmington Shops didn't do as nice a job on the nose stripes as did NJT. The latter, now at the Pennsylvania State Railroad Museum at Strasburg, has recently been repainted with flawless nose stripes. Both of these locomotives have the PRR-style Clarendon lettering, while at the Harrisburg, PA station, GG-1 4859, is displayed in the Futura lettering version of the Brunswick green scheme.
