Notice that the first car behind the power, is one of the two prototype Hi-Level chair cars. The lower roof line and the slighty angled window band are the spotting features. In service, the two seldom ran together because both were transition cars, that is one high level-, and one low level-compatible end.

Because of the year, its hard to tell. And I'm no expert at recognizing this kind of stuff. Are those some ATSF hi-level cars mixed in the consist? Its nice to see a mix of some of Amtrak's first diesels, some hi-level cars, and some heritage cars along with what appears to be an MLW car and a C&NW car.

"... what appears to be an MLW car and a C&NW car" are actually cars owned by the Pacific Railroad Society. The PRS painted most of their cars in UP colors, but they substituted green for the red striping. The first low-level car is painted in a variant of their scheme, with a much wider green band across the top that was, as noted, very reminiscent of the C&NW scheme.
