I think the lead unit is Ex-Chicago and Northwestern, it has the trademark "Pedestrian Bell" on the nose. Nice photo, thanks for sharing this one :-)

C&NW was not the only railroad to specifiy these bells for their locomotives -- they were a trademark of the Detroit, Toledo and Ironton as well
