Charles, you're absolutely correct. It's the people in your shot that help make this image. This is a lesson that I've also learned after going back to shots I made decades ago. Those people getting in my shots that I originally grumbled at now make some of my images. Same goes for "modern" cars in the way when shooting vintage steam 30 years ago. Time's a funny thing!

Somewhere in my family's picture stash is a photo of me and my siblings in almost the same pose at Houston's Amtrak station, circa 1971 - standing in front of the Sunset Limited prior to her departure for points east. If I could make a suggestion, if the left half of this photo could be lightened/brightened it sure would be more appealing visually.
