This lash up ended up in New Hampshire this past weekend on an NS coal drag. Great shot.

Robert, great vivid shot of a clean colorful consist. If the trailing units were BNSF 5485 and 5420 then the consist is the same that brought a unit coal train to Bow this morning. Just a note, somewhere along the way the power got turned (maybe normal geographical occurance not knowing which way this is headed) as the BNSF 5420 was the lead unit as it headed East then North to the plant. When the train made it to East Deerfield yard in Ma., they used the lead unit to be a pusher for an EB headed for Me. and then brought it back to the train to continue the coals journey to Bow. The more I see this paint scheme the more I like it and hope to see it as Guilford seemed to work quickly on getting it out of town as I worked unlike their normal NS units on the trains, lol. Thanks for sharing.

Odd lash up, especially for an NS train... wonder if that lead engine is cab signal equipped or if thats not required on NS's Mon line. That KCS Engine is a long way from home as well.
