What a treat from the past, Alco Centuries doing their thing! I always liked the rakish air horn placement on the ex-NYC C430s, but from this particular angle, I see the potential problem of towermen trying to quickly read that numberboard, as a train rushes past in the night.

The reason for the horn placement was NY Central tunnel clearance when these units were new.
