Ah, a nice, vintage photo from the old days of railroading--wait, what's with the modern New Jersey license plate??

"...what's with the modern New Jersey license plate??" It's the first year issue. Yeah, that's it. That's the ticket.

It was experimental, not to be used again until the 1990's. A very nice 'throwback' image, I'm trying to remember where I was for this! Can you have shoebox envy for a photo from 2 years ago?

A great composition with the old engine and cars complimenting each other so well,as I am from the UK I cannot tell that it is a modern license plate although I do know that the Health and Safety guys in here would have a fit over the lack of fencing between the rail and the road.

Nice shot, Mitch - great combination of classics, with the train and the cars!

This is once in a lifetime photo of the car and truck being older than the Steam Locomotive remember this 2-8-2 was not built in america it was built in the same place as the Qj's yes china so that means this guy was built in 1985 and the car and truck was built in the 1950's Nice Shot
