That E9 on the right looks great, and it is obviously an ex-BN commuter engine, but does anyone know the source of the Conrail-like blue paint?

Nice! A lot to look over in this photo.

I see a Penn Central Geep in there too, looks great. What a cool picture.

I know locomotives cannot talk but I wish they could. Could you imagine the stories they would tell, the miles they have gone, the trains they have pulled?

Wow.. I wish I could take a walk around Larry's .. I bet alot of us do. That E9 looks to be in great shape , I sure hope they dont scrap that, a museum or railway needs to purchase that unit and give it a new life .

What a nice place for camping! One could spend an entire week on this parking just to take one picture of each one of those beautiful machines. ThankĀ“s a lot for the picture!

A little bit of Conrail blue is showing through on the NS Geep in the foreground

"I'll take that, one... oh and that one over there... right in the center." If only it were that easy.

That Blue on the F-Units appears to be the retired/sold Grand Traverse Dinner Trainset?

By far the biggest collection of power Ive seen in one shot on this site. Two thumbs up and a tip of the hat.

Sure glad to see that one of the former WC SW1200's is still around, of course just sitting around collecting dust. I had no idea the LTE had more then two former CNW Geeps in thier collection as well! As for the "Blue" E9, I am going to go ahead and say the number is 9912 or 9922 purchased back in 2003 or 2004.

I see a lot of retired DM&IR engines there.

Alot of old power in there, I see a E unit, some old Alco's and even a CNW GP9 High. Nice Pic!

Wow- and I always thought AUTO junk yards were fun to walk around in- I could spend all day here. Thanks for sharing an unusual location and a different photo from all the "portrait" roster shots.

This is a must visit location. You can look at over 30 years of North American railroading from one spot. And that trio of UP pups is an added bonus.

What's the prize for guessing correctly how many units are in the photo?

That E8 wouldn't happen to be a Great Northern unit, would it?

What I'd give to just take a walk around this place, very cool photo.

It appears to be a rebuilt GP9/GP20...I must have hit the wrong GEEP key on the keyboard....Thanks.
