Nice shot! Its always neat to find abandoned relics like this and think back to how busy they once were.

The preserved Liberty Ship "Jeremiah O'Brien" framed in the arch is a nice touch!

I was struck by the ornamentation on the structure... it would be at home on a major blvd. I am glad the craftsmanship has been preserved

Isn't the arch new? I seem to recall someone stating that the original had burned down, or some such.

What beauty! Here in NYC, the water cranes were completely utilization and had a look only an industrialist would love. Thanks for posting this survivor in San Francisco.
