Nice! And ironic! Excellent capture. And wow, that looks like the longest main rod ever. Tell us, is the regulator on the left or the right in the cab?

When in China this locomotive was converted to left hand drive and has remained so after its UK restoration. Though one interesting note on this shot...Where is the air pump? These engines have an all in line pump on the front of the smokebox and this one inparticular uses the air system to activate the power reverse and vac brakes via a special valve.

Very good pan shot...I took a photo of this engine as #463 at Fushun, China back in 1988.
