And, this shot rounded out my Sunday viewing of Railpictures. I have seen very few shots of Joliet from this location. It allows a shot which includes the tower and the staion in one shot. CRI&P 652 had one of the best Bicentenial schemes.

This has to be one of my favorite railroad junctions of all. I have many fond memories of Joliet Union Station. By the way, that's a Santa Fe NIPSCO coal empty off the EJ&E, leaving Joliet Yard. Great stuff Roger.

As busy as this crossing was, to capture three trains at once so nicely is rare. Excellent!
