The DMIR SD38-2's are still active, minus the 209 which was sold to Private Rail Limited. The CN has retired one of thier own 1651, but as for the DMIR, all 5 surviving are still roaming the Duluth/Superior area in search of some more ore to keep there job coming. I know as well as many others do already the CN has sent up many former IC, nee-BN SD40-3's but I belive they are up there to help rid of the tunnel motors.
