You are looking across the Hellgate, Clarfork River up Rattlesnake Creek, actually a part of Missoula. Main part is left of this picture. Water works hill, a parking place during the 60's for teen, is on the extreme left. Hellgate was the required pass for Indians on their way east to the buffalo hunting grounds across contentintal divide. Lewis and Clark passed thru this pass on the way back to St. Louis in 1806. In the distance is wilderness...my father hunted cougars there. Missoula sets as the hub of five valleys here. A very beautiful place! Nice shot Justin...thanks!
