Posted by Michael F. Allen on November 6, 2008  Bob, your low angle shot really shows how steep the reversing balloon track was. The 18 is climbing a 2.5% grade (1 in 40) so the balloon must have been nearly 6%! Impressive. Posted by Amtrakman on February 8, 2011  That's an amazing slope.
