One of the great thrills of PV riding is to be on an open platform at 90 mph. It is not for the faint of heart....but sure is fun. But be prepard to shower and wash you hair before dinner.

I said the train was doing around 80, not us! We were of course doing a sedate 55 to save fuel, and the 'Southwest Chief' overtook us. Honestly, it's the truth, officer!
