What a wonderful era that was at the tail end of the Santa Fe Railway. The super fleet era seemed to disappear as quickly as it appeared.

At least there were a couple of years to enjoy before the merger. Can't beat this paint scheme though. Even a BNSF Warbonnet isn't the same, the Santa Fe lettering makes it perfect. Too bad there aren't freshly painted Heritage units.
