On most Amtrak trains, the sleepers are right behind the baggage car in the front, is there a reason why they're on the rear of the Lake Shore Limited?

I believe it is because there are two sections to the Lake Shore Limited. One comes from New York City and the other from Boston and the two combine at Albany. I'm not positive about it but that's my best guess.
