Great shot. What a unique opportunity to see such an incongruous combination. It certainly does tell you a story about the interoperability of the North American rail system and is a testament to the foresight of railroaders a century and half ago when they realized the value of standardization. I caught that train on Christmas Eve running the first Cascade of the day though Vancouver, WA, it was the first train of the day to cross the Columbia River, and came though in a major snow storm too.
