On one of the excursions back then, Royal Canadian 2839 was disabled by being moved with a grease fitting attached so we were pulled by a pair of geeps back to New Orleans from Hattisburg, MS. I think one was a GP30, but it was dark and they ran us as a #2 section to the Southern Crescent. They must have been in Run 8 the whole way because we were flying!
