A Snow Tornado! Fantastic! I see now the issue of catenary; but since it's railroading, it's all good. Great capture; thanks for letting us all see this wondrous sight of brand new steam.

Well caught, Ian. I saw it at Hadley Wood and Kings Cross but couldn't get a decent shot...too cloudy. Great to see thousands of enthusiasts (young and old) out to see it.

Check out those drivers. 96" or so? Plus that must be the leftovers of the extraordinary snow the Brits had. Nice photo to see.

Ian, this is a wonderful, stirring sight to gladden the heart of any steam enthusiast. A fine-looking rake of stock too. To all those prophets of doom and misery in the current economic climate - I say "behold the fruit of faith and determination"!
