This is fantastic! With all the spectacular shots that have been coming from out west recently, it's nice to be reminded of the wonders of Appalachian railroading. PC vote.

Have been on many Clinchfield Railfan trips through here, and was always thrilled by the scenery and the fact that this line was built at all. Mother Nature did cause parts of this line to be rebuilt several times by washouts and land slides. Our Bluegrass Railroad Club ran sold out trips, and would do so again if a chance ever came up.
