What a mournful image of a relic from a time long since vanished. Sure would be nice if a museum would get her out of the elements. Thanks for sharing this photo.

Look up or google "the lost engines of Roanoke" for more on this group of engines forgotten by time and hidden by the weeds. They are being slowly one by one moved and preserved here and there.
