Wow. I've never seen Horseshoe curve from that angle, what a spectacular view. Amazing. Stunning. Very enticing, making me want to go to Chorro! PCA, no doubt.

Very cool! Nice choice for location, Jeff.

Great shot of the horseshoe curve, Jeff. The green hillsides really pop despite the gloomy weather.

One of the best shots I've seen in a long time. AMAZING all around! This one gets my vote.

Let me just add how amazing this shot is, Jeff. Your work has always impressed me (and even blown me away in the past, like that oil can shot along the beach)... but the more I look at this the more I have to say it is takes things to a new level. Excellent work.

Last time I saw this angle was of some SP F units in the mid sixties but nothing in recent years. Nicely done Jeff.

Great job of reconnaissance, picking THE spot, and executing. Probably the best overall picture of the loop that I have seen.

Great composition and vantage point Jeff!

What a great location - august 2009 and my airmiles will get me and my better half to San Fran from gloomy London - this shot makes me want to search out this location - its never been seen before on railpictures which is indeed a compliment for a Californian location.

I can just only watch and say just only this word "impressive" in my mind.

I can't add much that already hasn't been said Jeff...except I like this different view from SLO. Well done fellow Nscaler!

I can't add much more that hasn't already been said, other then just agree with all of the above.

Jeff I look at this curve everyday from within the prison (below). I watched the Katy roll down a week and a half ago with a string of empty stacks behind her. This is a whole new perspective on the curve! Great job!

Awesome shot and what a location. I may have to search this out. I'll be up there next week meeting a friend who will be coming in to SLO on the Coast Starlight.

I have never seen this angle before. Very well done. Reminds me a bit of Arnold Loop on the WP except for the fact that it's much greener. Looks like you made quite a hike to get this. Thanks for sharing.
