How likely is it that we will ever see this again? I'd say that chance is almost zero. These are sure some sweet locomotives.

Thanks folks. This was a memorable chase. I followed this train the entire length of it's run, 524 miles from Missoula to Laurel Yard. Took 26 hours, and a tank and a half of gas, but it was worth it. Who knows when or if this will ever be repeated again.

500+ miles of chasing a single train: 26 hours of time
Capturing a rare consist which will likely never again be repeated: Priceless!
