Im glad too that it is still running, I hope it will soon have some new red paint, it should look great in Minnesota Commercial colors.

I don't know this for a fact, but I doubt it will be getting MNNR paint anytime soon. The Commercial isn't power short by any means. This unit sat in storage for months if not years before they patched it and put it in service. The old Santa Fe paint is in good shape, so they covered it and placed a MC on it. Believe it or not, new Minnesota Commercial paint is less durable then old Santa Fe paint.

BNSF sold its B23-7s and the SF30B about 2 years ago, so it couldn't have sat in storage for more than that. I read on Trains News Wire that they do not plan on repainting it anytime soon. Minnesota Comercial does go for all the oddball locomotives.
